Driving Innovation and Growth in Chains Rice Value
The Rice Council of Tanzania (RCT) is the national platform driving the growth of Tanzania’s rice sector. We bring together farmers, government, businesses, researchers, and development partners to build a stronger, more competitive, and sustainable rice value chain.
Our focus is on promoting innovation, improving market access, supporting smart policies, and creating opportunities for farmers, women, and youth. By fostering partnerships and sharing knowledge, we help strengthen food security, attract investment, and advance climate-smart rice production.
At RCT, we believe rice is more than a crop—it is a driver of economic growth, better livelihoods, and resilient communities.
