In collaboration with ANSAF, the Rice Council of Tanzania conducted a project focusing on assessing the impacts of climate change on smallholder rice farming. The initiative aimed to inform policy dialogue among key stakeholders on critical issues affecting the rice value chain, particularly in the context of climate adaptation and mitigation. The project was implemented in Lake zone (Shinyanga and parts of Geita) targeting areas highly dependent on rice production and vulnerable to climate variability.
